I have a question................about six months to a year ago, I tried applying for JWZone board and ended up having the nicest conversation with one of the moderators over there who basically said I couldn't join cuz I had just come from a "known" apostate board (this one) and of course, I have no understanding of the fine points of how they trace you etc..........but, the guy and I had a nice conversation and now, I'm wondering if it was you, Dan..........for the life of me, I can't remember the guy's name..............but, if it was you, you were very nice.................

Yep, that was me! I seem to recall that you sent back an e-mail accusing me of being a typical closed-minded Witness, and I just had to prove you wrong.
And for the record, she is a great lady, and someone I am proud to have had as a friend.
She always seemed rough, tough and an unwavering, straight-down-the-line, banner waving (oops, can't have that, can we!) JW, from the (admittedly few) posts of hers that I read. And that photo (must have been from her driver's licence!) she used for her avatar hardly helped...
It's good to hear that she was one of the "nice" ones when you outed yourself, Dan. Has she ever had any doubts about the org herself, that you know of? I must admit, having her start posting here would indeed be a satisfactory outcome.
I think that most JWs abhor "apostasy", and they can't really be blamed for that... it's just part and parcel of the mind-control. And in all honesty, I think that a lot of ex-JWs should be ashamed of the way that they treated the Witness sites.
As far as Jazzy, however, she's a conciliator. She dislikes confrontation; and with one exception, which was extremely out of character, I never saw her be judgmental, self-righteous or unkind towards another Witness.
And yes, of course, it would be awesome if she started posting here.
