Crop circles are an interesting subject to show how religious belief works.
Even when people are told it was a deception and show the deception, it somehow makes them even more devoted to the idea that it's true to the point of vehemently denying that it was invented and that the people exposing it are now pulling the real hoax.
It's been thoroughly debunked and no one should be making a living peddling nonsense books about it anymore, it won't stop people trying though.
