I think I'm more willing to stand up for things that I think are right now. When a JW "respect authority" (ie. "them") was drummed into us pretty hard.
I'm happy to complain about things in shops and banks for instance if I don't think I've had good service and usually get things sorted (of course, you should never get heated or angry - be firm but fair)
Also waiting for what "cook a snook" means.
Nah, I'm not any braver because of being a JW. More cynical and distrustful, but not braver. And, if I feel less intimidated by authority, I think age and life experiences has something to do with that.
