    War Never Solved Anything:

Ok Except: Slavery, Mass Genocide & Communism – to name a few.

It was a conspiracy to go into Iraqi; there was no good reason:

Ok Except, tell that to those who were and the families of those who were in: torture chambers, rape chambers, those slaughtered by mass genocide at the hands of the Iraqi leader(s) Oh Yeah, testing their Bio & Chemical weapons (but they had none?), children sold in slave markets – to name a few.

Peace is not indicative of the absence of or threat of War!

America Has Done Nothing for the World:

Ok Except, I guess an argument could be made for the changes in: Germany, France, South

Korea, Russia, Hong Kong, Japan, Iraqi and some would say China – to name a few.

The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing!

While we can disagree on any number of issues I think we can all agree on one thing. Having the freedom to speak our peace & beliefs and a place such as this site, is something we can all be thankful for.

I wonder how upset and mad people would get if they really knew the facts and truth behind ALL ADMINISTRATIONS? There is not much difference when you get to the top of the food chain.

We, the individuals, make it all happen!

One thing about the boarders, we should close them in a very serious way!

I cannot wait to vote for Arnold! See the headlines now: "Arnold Terminates Davis!"

I believe what I do regarding politics, and I support others in their own viewpoints. I enjoy reading the different viewpoints here, and feel that I can learn from hearing other thougthts. Many times what I read and hear confirms my personal beliefs, other times it makes my think. Many times, it makes me laugh.

However, to name call, or think that one person knows more than another and lash out is just childish.

To call another an idiot because they don't believe the same way, come on.

    Mr Kim,

    Couldn't agree with you more.

We think we live in a democracy because we can vote once every four years.

The party that is in power pushes through an agenda and the party that is not in power opposes it, but can't stop it.

When the election comes and there is a change in the ruling party, they then push the same agenda through and the others oppose it.A good example of this is in Britain at the moment, where Labour was put into power because people where fed up of the Conservatives, but Labour are now acting more like Conservatives, taking over their policies and implementing things that a labour government shouldn't even consider doing.

We have the illusion of freedom because we think we can change things, but in reality, we can't.

    Searchforthetruth,

Right on! May I suggest a book for most people to read and get an inside view?

Book: Rule by Secrecy. Author: Jim Marrs

A good book and timely information to bring many people up to speed.

Another good book. Will bring everyone up to reality that things are not as you have been taught!!

    teenyuck,

    funny thread!

maybe i should follow my countryman Arnold S. and try to run for a political position in the US!

but seriously...there is one HUGE problem with your suggestion....voting doesn't help much! other admins are just a little more diplomatic, less rude and not so clumsy in their foreign politics as the bush admin is. however the ultimate goal remains the same for all of them.

    WHOA! Time out here!

    Tina said:

Get out and vote. Change does not happen sitting at home watching the Simpsons.

OK tenny...calm down...But listening to Dubya-speak is just as funny as watching the Simpsons:

Actually, on second thought, since so many here fervently support him, it is quite painful to listen to this "man of character" whom the world is supposed to rally around and support... Me thinks they listen to too much Rush Limbaugh from the Clear Channel cabal.

It's really sadly ironic, you know. They will disprove the theocratic authority of the WTS, yet they glob on to this man, this madman, Bush, like is some kind of God or something because he is a macho military man who will save America from terrorism! Even people who don't even live in the U.S. support this guy! And, yet, these very same members here were the best evidence producing critics of the WTS!!! Madness!!! They don't know that you can be still patriotic and criticize your (selected) President! Nationalism is blinding, that's what I say. It's a cult. This is evidence of a cult of false patriotism, of blinding nationalism. It's like a disease.

Have you ever heard of a madman? A dry-drunk? A raging psychopath? This is what this man is! And I've got the quotes to prove it...remember, many of us have learned to use actual quotes from the WTBTS publications to refute their claims and show them up for just who they are. (like those neatly organised on quotes.jehovahswitnesses.com website)

Here are some latest quotes from the old master: Don't worry, I've got more coming, and some on audio, too!!!

    Fresh Dubya Quotes:

There are some who feel that the conditions [in Iraq] are such that they can attack us there. My answer is "Bring 'em on!"

-- Now that's the way to ensure the safety of American troops, Washington, D.C., Jul. 2, 2003

We're laying the groundwork for a national campaign -- a national campaign that I believe will result in a great victory in November 2002.

    -- Tampa, Florida, Jun. 30, 2003

    (OOPS!)
I appreciate [Florida Governor] Jeb [Bush] -- talk about swamping somebody, he knows the definition of 'swamp' when it comes to political campaigns.

-- I'll bet he does, Tampa, Florida, Jun. 30, 2003

It means that doctors are practicing what they call preventative medicine. In other words, if you think somebody's going to sue you, if you're in a litigious society, then you'll take extra care by prescribing more and more either procedures, or whatever it may be.

-- It's doubtful that anyone other than Dubya calls this practice "preventative medicine", but there you have it, Miami, Florida, Jun. 30, 2003

I know there are serious obstacles to overcome. Introducing democracy is hard in any society. ...[Liberian] President Taylor needs to step down -- so that his country can be spared further bloodshed.

-- Introducing democracy is even harder when the leader of the world's most famous democracy asks the democratically-elected leader of Liberia to step down from his job, Washington, D.C., Jun. 26, 2003

(BTW: George doesn't even know the correct type of his own government, like Frankmeister (François) said here, it's a representative republic. Canada has a constitutional monarchy.)
Whatever amount of energy and effort is required from the White House, we will provide it, to get a bill done this summer, one that I can sign and then we can all go back to our districts -- in my case, tour the country -- and say we have accomplished a major objective. Together we work together.

-- He really hit home with the finally summary there, Washington, D.C., Jun. 25, 2003

I like to remind people that there are three parties involved directly in the territories there. There's the Israeli government. I believe the Israeli people want peace, and I believe their government when they say they want a peaceful state, living side by side Israel.

-- Forget the three parties he's supposed to be reminding us about, how about this concept of Israel living side by side with itself? That would be quite a feat. Washington, D.C., Jun. 25, 2003

(I just read this again, and, considering how everybody kisses Israel's butt on these issues, this HAD to have been a Freudian slip!)
A good education system is one that is going to mean more likely for any country, including ourselves, to be a freer country, and a more democratic country. And [Pakistan's President Musharraf] is -- he's taking on the issue in a way that is a visionary and strong.

-- A good education system would be one that reaches the White House, Camp David, Maryland, Jun. 24, 2003

There's more than two principles at large. There are terrorists who are -- still have designs are destabilizing the Pakistan government, and are destroying innocent life.

-- Trying to spit it out, and leaving behind some wreckage in the process, Camp David, Maryland, Jun. 24, 2003

There's been a lot made about the military might of the United States of America. And we're plenty tough. And we're plenty tough and plenty strong because we have a job to do.

-- So the military might of the U.S. doesn't come from the hard work and rigorous training, but merely from needing to fulfill a job? Would the military be insufficiently tough if there was no job pending? Fridley, Minnesota, Jun. 19, 2003

We have faced challenge in this nation.

-- And we have conquered thems, too, Fridley, Minnesota, Jun. 19, 2003

    We need a energy policy.

    -- And a Dubya-English dictionary, Fridley, Minnesota, Jun. 19, 2003

    (I can't believe Harvard graced him with a C-minus.)
We said loud and clear [to corporate scoundrels], if you cheat the shareholder and your employees, you will be held responsible for those decisions. The world is now more peaceful because we acted.

-- Who could have guessed that enforcing stricter economic policy has brought peace to the world? Fridley, Minnesota, Jun. 19, 2003

But medical liability is like a lottery. And they file a lawsuit, after lawsuit, after lawsuit, which causes premiums to go up, which means your bills go up. And it means many doctors in hospitals practice preventative medicine, which means they prescribe more than is necessary in order to make sure they cover themselves in case of a lawsuit, which causes your costs to go up.

-- Not the wisest choice of figurative expressions, given the subject matter. It makes it sound like preventative medicine is a bad thing. Fridley, Minnesota, Jun. 19, 2003

(...and it is a lottery if you're the patient, you just may be overdosed to save costs! Right on George! Keep sniffing, buddy!)
We sent a clear message to Saddam Hussein. 'Disarm, the world has asked you to disarm for 12 solid years and now is the time. For the security of America and our friends, and for peace in the world, for you to disarm.' And we gave him plenty chance to do so.

-- And apparently he did better than we thought, since weapons haven't turned up, Fridley, Minnesota, Jun. 19, 2003 (Saddam must have listened to you after all!)
