Eh.......sounds like a good time was had by all! I'm so jealous, you Texan's sure know how to party!

even I wouldn't try the baby octopus (they looked like little octopus fetuses), but Six and Billygoat were daring and each took one and bit the head off. Billygoat's eyes bugged out when I told her she had eaten the little octopus brains. We looked and didn't see anything in there, but Six pronounced them good, if a bit rubbery.

EEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!! Sounds totally gross!!!!! I can't believe you ate the whole thing Billygoat! I'm with Big Tex on this one, no way would I even try that. It's just too early in the AM for me to think about this......

Oh and afterwards me, Liz, roo, Alex and jesika went to the Fox & Hound

Hey Valis I used to work for the guy that own's Fox & Hound, he also owns Lonestar Steak House, boy do I feel important now

You guys are great I live vicariously thorough your apostate adventures.

Well, I had such a good time (after getting over the hang over).

I also tried the baby octopus, it was ok, but I agree a little too rubbery. Alex wouldn't try one lol.

Well, Megadude had mentioned earlier in this thread about sake bombs, so I assumed he had one before, to my delight, he hadn't.

I did 3 of them I think (), and my last one was a distaster, the sake cup fell on its side instead of in the beer glass , I don't know who said it, but someone told me I was "cut off" LOL, ya right !

I got Roo to try yellow tail tuna (no it's not cooked) and she liked it , I also got Jade and Roo to both try Flying Fish roe (eggs) they have no taste, but remind me of pop rocks, the roe is bright red and they are very small, so they just roll around in your mouth, lots of fun. They both liked that too, but were fighting to try and get the roe under control in their mouths LOL.

We all walked outside when we were leaving and everyone stood in a perfect circle LOL. When we noticed that, we broke the circle (rebellious? *shrugs* not sure why we did that LOL).

Then we decided to go to Fox and Hound. I thought we were going to shoot pool, but Liz suggested to play darts (god I suck at that game, especially after 3 sake bombs LOL).

So, Valis, me, Liz, Alex, and Roo stayed at Fox and Hound till it closed. We parted and said we definately had to do this again.

Woke up with a HUGE headache, but after some aleve and a few more hrs sleep we are ok.

Can't wait to see the pics!!!!!!!!!

Ray, I wish you were there too!!!!!

What a great dinner. Roo and I had sushi for the first time. Billygoat was kind enough to show us the ropes and order for us so we didn't get anything we weren't prepared for. I tried the baby octapus too. I tried not to look at it beforehand. It tasted fine but a little chewy. Then Jesika got us to try flying fish eggs and sake. The sake was very good but she's right when she said the eggs were like putting fish pop rocks in your mouth.....very different, but hey you only live once right? My favorite was the eel, california rolls, and the seaweed salad.........very yummy. I am anxious to go back and try some other things.

The best part of the evening was seeing all of you great folks again. Can't wait to see you again when Searcher gets here!!!!

Valis: for shame - Cruzanheart chugged the sake bombs better than you, eh?

Big Tex, I was literally laughing out loud when I read your post about the sake bombs and flying soya sauce. Thank goodness for black trousers, eh?

Jesika: I hope I dialed the right number, I called some number and it had an extension, but I left a msg., heaven knows who in the Greater Dallas area received Rayzorblades Canuckistani message, but oh well...I was polite and friendly (like we Canucks aren't ).

Billygoat, me thinks you are a pro with sushi. Don't you have a bit of Japanese blood running through your veins? You win hands down at the sushi bar, no one can touch you.

Everyone else, how I wish some of us Canucks could have been there, it would have been incredibly fun, fun, fun!!!

    Ray,

I did get your message, sorry I wasn't hear when you called. The answering machine has 2 mailboxes, that is why it seems like it has an extention, but you called the right place.

    Wish you were there!!!

Hope to talk to you soon!!

What a fun night! Mozzer and I were SO READY for a great sushi night together. It's been ages! But it's always a treat for me to see beginners try sushi. I've never met anyone who wasn't pleasantly surprised. Everyone always thinks it's going to be gross, but find at least several things they really like. Roo, Jade, and Mega - I was so PROUD of you. I love it when people have an open mind and at least try. Thanks for being such good sports!

Our two youngest, Jenny and Teddy are beautiful and were so patient to put up with us big "kids". I think both of them were a little overwhelmed with how much fun everything was. Jenny was beaming all night and Teddy had a reserved smile most of the night as well. They will both grow up to be beautiful young women! Six, Cruzan, and Big Tex - y'all should be proud of your little girls!

Mozzer and I had a fantastic evening and thank y'all for gathering with us.

Lyin' and Wild Turkey - I'm sorry you missed out. Next time right???

    Love y'all,

    Andi

    PS: Where are the pics???

Cruzan - sorry I didn't make it. Our electricity had been off most of the day Friday and several of our appliances weren't working...sort of just wasn't a good mix that day. However, I still owe you lunch or dinner - so consider this a future invitation!
