Man that sounds like fun.
Only been to Dallas once, and the only bar / restaurant I can remember was " The Millionaire's Club " or something like that.
And I can't seem to recall if they served Sushi
Anyways I'm sure you guys will have a blast, and we'll be looking forward to the pictures.

It is raining here today and is a dreary day,,,,,,,,and we are not going to be able to come to Dallas after all this weekend..................I am so sorry for any inconvience this might have caused ya'll, and I am sorry for the messed up plans.
Long story on why we can't get there,,,,, basically, kids were bringing friends, more decided to want to go, and I couldnt buy the tickets online , because they take 4 days to ship , and then our Van that will haul all the extra people who decided to go too........errrrrrrrrrrrrrr...........is running hot!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We can never make plans that don't fall thru.
I am soooooooo sorry for not being able to be there and I just feel miserable about it.

Howdy Ray! Well since I'm the first apostate up and awake at the moment, I'll tell you what happened. BTW, I really wish you were there ( ).
First, Jennie got to go to her first Apostafest and she felt oh-so-grownup. She was dying of curiousity to see exactly what went on and she was beaming the whole evening. I think there is even a picture of her holding a shot glass in a beer mug. No she didn't drink it, but I think she felt apostasized.
Nina, Jennie and I arrived at 7 o'clock. Six of Nine (and his very charming daughter) were already there as was Billgoat, Mozzer, Jade and Roo. Close to 7:30, Jesika and Alex arrived, followed by Valis and the Catholic School Girl (Liz) then Megadude and finally DFWnonJW made his grand entrace.
Although I love sushi, even I wouldn't try the baby octopus (they looked like little octopus fetuses), but Six and Billygoat were daring and each took one and bit the head off. Billygoat's eyes bugged out when I told her she had eaten the little octopus brains. We looked and didn't see anything in there, but Six pronounced them good, if a bit rubbery.
Then Jesika got a few people to do sake bombs. For those that don't know, what you're supposed to do is fill your sake cup, place it carefully on two chopsticks over the full beer glass, hit the table and when the sake falls into the beer, slam the beer in one drink. My darling little Nina tried one, but when she hit the table it caused the bowl of soy sauce to fly off the table and into my lap, so I had my own unique aroma the rest of the evening. Fortunately I was wearing black pants so no one could see the enormous brown stain over my crotch.
On her second sake bomb, Nina was able to chug it down in one drink, but the beloved District Overbeer couldn't. He had to pause and needed two gulps to down his sake bomb. Poor guy, age must be catching up with him. Can't quite get it up anymore I suppose. The sake bombs that is.
Jade and Roo were introduced to a variety of sushi. I'm not sure how they fared since they were on the other end of the table. Six and I had some sort of cajun thing. We weren't quite sure what it was we ate, it was very spicy but we both enjoyed it. At , we were the first to leave as we had left at a birthday party for one of the neighborhood kids, so we had to fly. So I don't know what happened after that.

Sounds like you guys had a great time, sorry I missed out I am hoping to be able to make it up there when searcher is in town....are ya'll going to try and take him to Six Flags then? Oh and if you pass thru Austin on the way to SanAntonio somebody give me a shout will ya???????????
