  The reality is the JWS got started in false religion as commercialized false prophets preaching a tainted and unscriptural Gospel of Jesus and his new kingdom order.

  This carried on right through from the beginning of the 20th century to its end and still pretty much does so today. Unfortunately the JWS leaders (GB) are negligent in removing theses false doctrines, in fear that the membership would crumble underneath itself, they still teach and profess that the GT and Armageddon is just around the corner.

  These specific doctrines were an essential part of luring people to the organization and they know that.

  The Catholic monk was actually correct in using the letters JHVH, that is because in the Latin language (and even in the later German language) those letters are pronounced the same as the letters YHWH are pronounced in modern English. As the for the vowels, the monk (not being a practicing Jew) made an honest mistake. The vowels were the equivalent to the Hebrew vowel points written in the divine name in the those copies of the Hebrew Scriptures that have vowel points. What the monk didn't know is that in regards to the divine name the vowel points in the Hebrew text for the divine name are for the vowels of Adonai (Lord), and maybe sometimes Elohim (God), and that it was to remind Jewish religious readers of the text to not pronounce the divine name, but to say Adonai (Lord) or maybe Elohim (God) instead.

  On the matter of the uttering of the Divine Name aloud, how do JW Org justify this ? They say that the Jewish religion was the True Religion until the death of Jesus or thereabouts.

  Then they say as the Gospel does , that god said " Your House is abandoned to you". From then on, faith in Christ was the thing.

  But, for all those Centuries, Yahweh had obviously smiled upon the reverential practice of only the High Priest uttering The Name aloud, once a year. Others disagree, on what evidence I know not, but I would argue that no one, including Jesus, among the ordinary Jewish folk, uttered the Name aloud.

  So, why do Jehovah's Witnesses ? also obviously causing others to as they utter the name of the org, a practice that Jehovah did not approve in direct word, ever it seems.
