    That's scary stuff!

Glad it was saved and all is well. (apart from the stove!)

    Cheers, Ozzie

    Larc,

If it wasn't for Zazu, you'd be living out in the woods, wearing rags, and eating leaves and berries for dinner. You are one lucky... uh... I mean blessed man. Seriously, though, glad you missed a near-tragedy. Had a house fire once and it took me years to recover.

I want to thank you all for responding. Our situation, while a near miss, was not as important as a direct hit. Well, we got our new stove today. Jan, left it up to me to pick it out without her attendence at this major event. They had white stoves and black stoves. I went for the multi-cultural stove that was half white and half black. Actually, it was half almond and half black. Jan likes it, and it matched the other colors in our kitchen.

    Life is good.

Carl, did you buy one with the ceramic cook top? I love those. The one I have is only four years old but when it dies I want one of those.
