Even better with the Samson story ... once they caught this one man killing machine terminator-before-his-time and discovered his strength was in his hair (WTF?) they *didn't* appoint someone to cut his hair EVERY SINGLE DAY. Heck, even once a week, have someone swing by - y'know, so he doesn't kill everyone again. In fact, wouldn't you kill him if you could?

    Such laughable nonsense.

But remember, ALL scripture is inspired (especially the bat-shit crazy stuff).

Nahh. That would ruin the whole story =P

The less you know about the Bible, the easier it is to believe it.

Or the Flood story! There is an example of some "crazy" logic...

Good, a reminder: this week is the NOAH imitation discussion in the hall. Time to show solidly based the faith really is. Tongue in cheek. The logic, the power of the Almighty.

I always wondered why God sent anyone to say anything on His behalf, ever.

If the rocks and pebbles worldwide all started shouting the same thing: I suspect people would pay more attention than they do to the smelly, beardy dudes in sandals, God usually asks to pass on His messages.
    Luke 19:40

Perhaps God needs to "meditate" on the meaning of Proverbs 18:9

Also, for lolzy bible logic, take:

    God is love - 1 John 4:8
Love is not jealous - 1 Corinthians 13:4
God is jealous - Exodus 13:14

People who proclaim the Bible to be a wonderful, heart-warming book for humankind, full of timely instruction on life in the modern world prove how extremely little they actually read it or how purposely selective they are in what they recall.
