It's very sad that such things should happen. I feel sorry for artists and performers who suffer like that. But, like you say, very political. Greece and Cyprus exchanged 12 points, as did............................etc etc.

True, but hearing the UK act before they performed you could tell they were big headed. They even said afterwards that they were so sure they were going to win.
I don't feel sorry for the pair at all, although it seemed to hit him hard during the points. The only worthy winner of any eurovision must have been........................
