Did anyone else think that Sept 11 was Armageddon?

  Not for a moment. Even as a JW, I thought it would be more of an attack from God, not a few planes that were obviously a terrorist attack by men. Armageddon was supposed to be God or Jesus destroying the wicked. And I remember something about it being over "in the twinkling of an eye". A few planes can hardly be mistaken for an event of such "biblical" proportions.

  No, it never occurred to me. I thought a war was starting, and it was.

  It was horrifying, but I didn't think it was the "Great Day of the wrath...and so forth."

  In fact we skipped bookstudy that night to see Belle & Sebastian. A more uplifting experience.
