Has the Watchtower Faithful Slave become the Evil Slave?

    What evidence suggests to you that the WT F&DS is actually more like the ES of Matthew 24?

    45Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?
    46Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
    47Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.
    48But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;
    49And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;
    50The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,
    51And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

    Matt. 24:34 imploded in 1975.

    The years of 1980-83 were a ship with out a rudder. No new light, no replacement for the fertile mind of F. Franz to come up "types and anti types'. The church had three choices: 1 admit they were FOS. 2, come up with a narrative that could make Matt. 24: 34 relevant, 3 shut down the minds by instituting 'absolute obedience to church authority'.

    In 1984 there came into being a true "snare and racket"

    The racket was the Kingdom Hall loans. The interest on the loans created cash flow, to where remodels were remodeled, cash flow. The KH was then dedicated to "Jehovah" aka the WTB&TS. To where they had a world wide real estate portfolio, with the only expense being the paper the contracts were written on. Evidently this was illegal as it was shut down by somebody bigger than the church.

    The "snare" was introduced in 1984 with the "obedience to the organization mantra. In this package a brand new enemy was introduced the APOSTATE. There was absolute shunning introduced to enforce the authority. In 1987 there was the WT. Sept. 1 article "A Time to speak When?" this was a masterful crafted piece of deception to create a hunting license to ferret out apostates.

    That was the son of God you quoted. This is how that transition was accomplished.

    I think that an accurate assessment of the current status of the WT is that it has been deeply wounded (cut asunder) and that their dominant characteristic has emerged as hypocrisy ..... just as Jesus promised.

    Thank you Jesus.

    Do you know roughly what year this was?

    Jesus asked who “really”… because He knew well that there would be a claimant to the ‘title’.

    Yes, they claim to be ‘the faithful slave’ but “who really” is.

    Then Christ says “if THAT evil slave” thus identifying the claimant as truly an imposter and a charlatan.

    Why, because the evil slave was beating his fellow slaves. Just as an evil house master would beat the slaves to extract more labour and to harshly impose his will upon them, the “evil slave” demands DO MORE DO MORE DO MORE and it’s never enough as they will lose out on life if they do not do more and more. And the evil slave further beats saying ‘you must refuse blood and die’.

    Also, the evil slave says “the Master is delaying”, and how can that be said unless first the evil slave prophecied the time of the Master’s arrival and which time has passed.

    There is no doubt, the watchtower’s leading men, have found their place in prophecy indeed.

    I have wondered at the use of the word slave, a word that typically has universally negative connotations. Isn't a "faithful" slave something of an oxymoron? Does a slave have a choice whether to be faithful or not? Don't they operate under threat of physical coercion for any transgression or for not following the master's orders? I wouldn't see much value or fidelity in a slave carrying out orders, I would see more in the way of self-preservation in those acts. The faithfulness of a partner or an employee would certainly seem to be more meaningful than one's chattel property.

    All this talk of being slaves to God seems a bit, off, to say the least. Is that really the relationship that we would seek or want to foster?

    In a broader sense I have always wondered why the bible was largely silent on the topic of slavery, something today's society has condemned as evil.

    Who forced the WT to forgive the Kingdom Hall loans?

    The loans were with interest. Seems ran afoul of banking/ loan laws. They changed to a monthly donation which had to be equal or greater. At the same time titles were signed over.

    Any monies over 3 months operating expense are " "voluntarily" donated

    The slave flat out said they can never turn evil. Hang on!
