PALE.EMPEROR:
I have seen the Exorcist many times on TV over the years. I like the beginning when the priest/archaeologist is in Iraq digging. When he found that amulet he knew he would face evil somewhere in the world. It was also interesting how everybody had to get inside at a certain time and it felt like evil was in the air. He almost gets hit by a carriage racing through the narrow streets.
When the movie was first released in the theater it was definitely shocking to the public. I think this movie and Omen were particularly shocking to me back in the day.
