Hourly vs Salary which is better?

    You're correct, SadElder

    The salary prong of the test has been bumped up to $913 per week; $47,476 annually for a full-year worker. Employees earning less than that will become either salaried non-exempt or hourly next year. (Smart employers are making the change right now.) I don't believe the Duties Basis/White Collar prong of the test has changed under the Final Rule.
