Jesus is depicted in the heavens. Next to him stand some of his co-rulers. Together they look at a vast number of angels. Some angels are going toward the earth to carry out their assignments. Jehovah delegated authority to all shown in this picture (See paragraph 5)

Here is today's modern depiction of grooming for men :

"For men, a neat personal appearance may include being clean-shaven. In areas where mustaches are widely viewed as dignified, any who wear these should keep them neatly trimmed." Ministry School p.133
For assignments at conventions and assemblies, specific instruction is given against using brothers with beards, such as the following from a talk outline in 2009.
    "Dress and Grooming
Those giving talks should wear suits. If your talk calls for an interview or a demonstration, please do not use any brother who wears a beard and make sure your participants are aware of the importance of good grooming and modest dress."
More common discussion regarding beards appears in the form of experiences of worldly men removing their beards on conversion. These experiences have appeared regularly over the decades, such as the following examples.

It’s a control thing. Carrot and the stick (to beat you with).

You can get privileges in the congregation but they come at a cost to your integrity as a human being.

If you don’t bow to the authoritarian pressure your privileges can be removed in a stroke of a pen.

All the ancient Hebrew men including Jesus had a beard.

If mankind is to return to perfection in the new Kingdom order they will return to wearing beards such as Adam had.

The no beards policy came about the by the men who ran the WTS and was instilled to make its public sales representatives (JWS) look clean and righteous, like a car salesmen with short hair, a suit and an honest smile.

It was essentially a public image endeavor to make the organization look righteous and clean unlike the worldly religions that are not.

It's just to make clear that all angels are male like Jehovah.

It looks like even the women anointed get to have a beard when they are in heaven. Neatly trimmed and curled no doubt

It also looks like when you go to heaven you turn into a older man with white hair.

The bible says that the anointed ones are also to be virgins who never had sex while on earth, so all those guys who say they are anointed and were married are in for a big surprise.

No angels or anointed with dark skin tones either for that matter. I wonder if Watchtower has yet depicted an angel or heavenly anointed with dark skin? The Bible doesn’t say angels and anointed co-rulers have white skin, does it?

Imagine if this was said of skin colour. I know the way in which a beard or moustache is cut/worn can be used to signal allegiances by so can 101 other things, such as your hair cut or a tatoo. But Jesus said you would identify true Christians because they had love for each other. John 13:35

In recent years in many lands a beard or long hair on a man attracts immediate notice and may, in the minds of the majority, classify such a person undesirably with extremists or as rebels against society.

By not having a beard, did brothers really get a better reception on the doorstep?
