Stop relying on what people in the Bible said or wrote and understand the mechanics of the process itself.

LOL! What a clown you are.

First off, the Bible itself may very well just be made up BS from people of the past. But whether true or not, it still says what it says. That being the case, you have no choice but to rely on what 'people' of the Bible said/wrote. If you ignored what they say, then there is no basis for even considering anything pertaining to 'anointed', a 'resurrection', etc.

The first resurrection of the anointed who have died as already occurred.

If that is true, then tell me when was the 'last day' that that resurrection occurred?

[ 39 This is the will of him who sent me, that I should lose none out of all those whom he has given me, but that I should resurrect them on the last day. 40 For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who recognizes the Son and exercises faith in him should have everlasting life, and I will resurrect him on the last day.”]

It's simple. When Jesus became king, he resurrected the anointed who are already dead.

If that is true, when did the 'last trumpet' sound and why is there a trumpet sound heard in the future after the GT if you claim the 'last trumpet' already sounded?

[52 in a moment, in the blink of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised up incorruptible, and we will be changed.]

[29 “Immediately after the tribulation of those days, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 30 Then the sign of the Son of man will appear in heaven, and all the tribes of the earth will beat themselves in grief, and they will see the Son of man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And he will send out his angels with a great trumpet sound, and they will gather his chosen ones together from the four winds, from one extremity of the heavens to their other extremity.]

17 How might a similar situation arise today? Consider the matter of blood fractions. Each Christian must make up his or her own mind about whether to accept or to reject these fractions. c We may find it a challenge to understand this matter fully, but making decisions like this is part of the load that each of us must carry. (Rom. 14:4) If we were to copy what somebody else decided to do, we could weaken our own conscience. We can train and improve our conscience only by using it. (Heb. 5:14) So when should we ask a mature Christian for advice? After we have done our own research but still need help in understanding how Bible principles relate to our situation (and Endnote https://www.jw.org/en/library/books/enjoy-life-forever/section-3/lesson-39/#p37-p41 For a detailed discussion of this topic, see the Enjoy Life Forever! book, lesson 39 point 5 and the “Explore” section.". " this newfound freedom only emerged after years of intense external pressure. There’s no theological revelation behind this softening. There’s just a growing pile of lawsuits and a desperate need to look less like a high-control cult and more like a mainstream faith."

Good observations there ! always moves are motivated by the desire to keep the $$$ flowing in, which is what is behind all the other latest moves, to look less like a high control cult, to the public and the Courts. Whereas nothing much has changed as to how free your mind and actions are as a J.W.

The insidious thing is that J.W's will exert pressure on others in their Congregation by shunning to some degree someone who has exercised their own conscience, made their own decision, and accepted something which is with weasel words still actually forbidden by the Org.

This goes against the words of Jesus where he plainly taught "The Law is for Man, not Man for the Law", in other words as long as a Christian does not go against the plain commands not to murder or commit adultery etc. then it is up to them and their conscience alone as to how they apply "the Law" in their own lives. Nobody else has the right to impose their conscience and ideas upon you.

But that is not what happens now , the Org. is still as much a High Control Group as it ever was.

I realized the whole Blood issue was BS at Bethel.

After almost 100 years of butchering their own meat upstate and further processing in NYC, a visiting branch overseer was livid and made a stink in 1975. Kitchen staff weren't "pouring the blood on the ground"-instead of the sink in downtown NYC. Bethel knew about and discussed Kosher methods but had never followed Orthodox procedures for Kosher meat prep. Why? "Because it would cost more time and money"! Members of the Governing body came down to the kitchen to weigh in on the subject, including the two Franzes. More money? Hell no!

Allowing fractions is like banning Pizza, but allowing tomato sauce, cheese, and bread.

Passing out suicide pact (blood) cards to parents is THE most culty thing Watchtower does.CHILD sacrifice!

Orthodox jews allow Blood transfusions, because LIFE is sacred, blood simply represents life.

    BALAAMSASS2:

I never thought about Orthodox Jews and accepting blood transfusions. Good.

I always had a problem with what I thought was the Witness religion’s desire to see people actually sacrifice their lives.. Maybe others didn’t see or think this but I did.

They don’t care how you sacrifice your life: whether you’re gullible enough to pursue poverty in a worthless ministry OR if you or a loved one succumb to their faulty blood doctrine…

I hope more people catch on to critical thinking and reject this suicidal mentality.

LHG- Not just sacrifice...but child sacrifice.

No better than the ancient child sacrifices to Molech.

Sacrifice their future by interfering with and limiting education.

Keeping them up late at night, midweek on school nights for meetings, skipping sleep and schoolwork. Forbidding school sports and educational clubs. Discouraging SAT and LSAT tests, "You'll never need those, the end is just around the corner. Putting off medical intervention,"the new system" will fix that!.

Discouraging College and other education for a more secure future and family life. Encouraging Pioneering and Bethel instead of acquiring valuable education, training, or work experience.

Severe corporal punishments, mental and physical abuse, combined with "abandonment" by shunning.

And most of all, refusing life-saving medical treatments ie: Blood, based on a faulty understanding of a Bronze Age book, and modern medical treatments.

    A doomsday, child-sacrificing CULT
