  This letter was put out right when the series aired. Seems they have "disfellowshipped" reporters pretty much in the eyes of their followers.

  Public Information Desk: As of July 1, 2019, a Public Information Desk (PID) was established to handle communication with news media, academic institutions, and government agencies. The PID is an important resource for all congregations in the U.S. branch territory, especially during times of crisis or when significant events are reported by media organizations. If the media contacts a congregation to request an interview or comments, please note that no interview should be granted by an elder or ministerial servant without permission from the branch. Request the reporter’s name, contact information, and the name of the media outlet. Inform the reporter that his request will be given consideration. Thereafter, immediately contact the PID either by calling (718) 560-5600 or by means of jw.org e-mail. Publishers may be approached for a comment by media representatives in connection with our activities or beliefs and may decide to participate. However, when elders learn that a publisher has granted such an interview, they should immediately inform PID.

  The PID should put out a word for word statement, a mantra so to speak, that all jw's must repeat when asked to comment or be interviewed by "worldly" organizations. It would be a show of unity!

  And the sad part is that most jw's would go along!

  Translation : WT leaders saying , " We are your lords, masters, and slaveholders. You do NOT think for yourself, we do your thinking for you. You will only speak when allowed by us to outside media . Understand ? Good. If you don't understand ? You'll lose you servants position or be disfellowshipped, according to how we WT leaders feel that particular day. "

And the elders may gossip about it to their wives, who in turn will spread it to others in the congregation that you talked with the media. There now. Feel better ? Still want to speak out to the media, suckers ? Ha ! Ha ! Ha ! Ha !. We'll see you in court or the back room, it's your choice.   Those 2 elders that Bundy did interview - I wonder if they are still Elders or are they in trouble for speaking to TB?

  HIDDEN PIMO- If I was a betting man- I'm assuming those 2 elders that Trey interviewed have either been deleted, resigned as elders, or at the very minimum, were taken into the back room and given 50 lashes with a wet noodle by the Circuit Overseer or some other GB appointed control freak.
