  You are absolutely correct about this. This was my observation back when I was in the JW religion...They glorify the unemployed, but imagine the ‘sinful, meeting-missing, paycheck-drawing and fiscally responsible’ will support these people. Dream on...

  Back then because of the negativity I got because of my full-time job, I was determined NEVER to give anything to any ‘exemplary Christian’ there who didn’t want to work.. Let their so-called spiritual friends give them money! You know. All the people who invited them to those special gatherings I wasn’t invited to!

  Last year I explained this to an old JW friend. I told them I had NO intention of being targeted now to give money for anybody there who either didn’t want to work OR who didn’t work sufficiently or make plans for their future.

  I’m sorry for all these JWs (including fired bethelites)..but they are going to have to get help from brothers with businesses.

  They may indeed "glorify" the unemployed with their public statements, but I assure you they kowtow with the "rich and famous" in JW Land. They schmooze with those who have the CA$H to wine and dine them and give them generous gifts. Nothing is too good for the GB and CO's and any Bethel Representative.

  All is well when the United States Government has the Paycheck Protection Program, and $600 Federal money in addition to the States Unemployment, student loan deferral, etc.

  In 2009 when the last "Economic Crisis" hit I was one of the few in the congregation employed. The unemployed in the congregation were auxiliary pioneering and so happy, and beating me because I had a job. At the end of 2009 I resigned and never went into a Kingdom Hall again. This was when the overlapping generation crap came out also. I never looked back.

  It is unpredictable how talks like this will effect people. Personally knowing the inside of Bethels and how disconnected they are to the world around them, whenever they started this nonsense talk I just put them on mute.

  It would self assuming toward D. Splane if had to work full time to put a roof over his head and his family, pay for his own food, health and dental care, pay for own cars and insurance, he might not be so judgmental over people who have to work and miss a few meetings in doing so..

  This is just another poignant example of the inherent corruption and hypocrisy of the top GB leaders of the JWS.

  Where they live off the proceeds of the WTS. $$$ including air flights to travel around the world, live in a carefree financial state sitting on millions $$$.

  Have swimming pools and tennis courts to use at their leisure at their HQ but then say its better to live in poverty and serve Jehovah with constant meeting attendance.

  Also consider that most of these men have never lived in the “real world” in which you and I live. Yet, they are making decisions for and controlling the lives of some 7 million JW’s. Most of these men have never had to work an actual job to support themselves or a family, neither have they had to pay for housing. Living at the Watchtower provides them with free room and board, their meals are prepared, they have someone to do their laundry for them, do their dishes, put out the trash and clean their rooms. The list goes on and on. While they have taken a “vow of poverty” the infamous “green handshake,” the good ol’ tax free cash-ola which uncle Sam never hears about provides very well for the men of the GB, not to mention the brothers who are in the Circuit and District work. All of this is provided at the expense of the rank and file JW which is consistently told to work less and do more and more for the organization. The economy in which you and I live, in many ways has no effect on the daily lives of the GB whatsoever because their resources are virtually unlimited.

  It's a God given responsibility to support the family. There is no biblical mandate to attend all the meetings or to go out in field service at any particular time or to do it in any particular method. Except, the GB believe that because they say so, they must be obeyed.

  The recent months should have made it clear to the GB that meetings and Conventions can be watched at any time. Also, the witnessing work can be done in different ways.

  Well, Gee-HO'-Vuh is providing. A small plastic bag with three or four bruised apples, a couple onions, and some baby carrots once a week will no doubt keep you alive, and donating for the graciously provided . . .oh hell, I can't finish typing that. I tried, I really tried to mimic the words of an elder, but just couldn't do it!

  Exactly. It reminds me of someone else's advice in a book I read. Let's see, I think it was called The Bible? "Then the Devil took him along into the holy city, and he stationed him on the battlement of the temple 6 and said to him: “If you are a son of God, throw yourself down, for it is written: ‘He will give his angels a command concerning you,’ and, ‘They will carry you on their hands, so that you may not strike your foot against a stone.’”

  Today's version is, "Then the out of work JW was taken before the personnel director and offered much needed employment. But the elders said, 'If you truly are a JW, refuse the work, for it is written: Jehovah will provide for you. Just be patient, and wait and see.'"

  I suggest giving this thing a taste of its own remdesivir (or coronavirus shot). Everyone (and I do mean everyone) totally quit donating anything to the washtowel. This means giving nothing at all. You have automatic debit? Cancel the arrangement, even if you have to close out that account and open another to do it. No one should donate anything at all. In the meantime, everyone in a position to do so should run up as many expenses for the washtowel as you legally can. Let these idiots see what happens when they lose all income.

  Also, anyone that is offered a job that requires missing boasting sessions or cutting back on field circus should take such jobs, even if they might somewhat be "unscriptural". No, going in the porn business or pushing cancer sticks or weed is not "somewhat", but working as a maintenance person at a casino or a retailer that happens to sell lottery tickets or cancer sticks (and your job involves handling them) would. Joke-hova only wants you as poor as possible, because that makes it easier for this monster to enslave you and use your energy to impose mandatory what-nots for everyone else. Take the job. This is survival, not luxury.

  And if they push the matter, just don't give them anything at all. In fact, it would be wise to miss boasting sessions and field circus, even without financial hardships. This is providing joke-hova energy to impose more draconian lockdowns, mandatory flu and coronavirus shots, more severe financial hardships for everyone but those running the show, a famine, World War III, and the RFID chip out of this cold pandemic. Everyone that takes a job that hinders these boasting sessions is helping curb this energy, helping to slow joke-hova from this agenda. And, if you keep on doing field circus and attending boasting sessions, their messiah will show up--and then we are all up s*** creek without a paddle, in a barbed wire canoe as we all become enslaved and the reptilians take control of the whole planet, directly.

  Is this what you want to put ahead of your own survival? If not, then don't donate anything to the washtowel (these idiots would then see what financial hardship is), and stop going to boasting sessions or field circus and take that job anyways.
