Which current GB members are part of the "overlapping generation"?

  - WT 2015 says that all GB helpers since 1992 are the other sheep

  - All the current GB members were helpers during or after 1992

  - Freddy Franz died in 1992 so unless you were anointed then, you are not an overlapper or "this generation"

  - Therefore all current GB members were other sheep in 1992, and not "this generation"

  BUT

  - Splane says in Sept 2015 broadcast that "All the current members of the Gov Body are of 'this generation' "
  

  Conclusion:

  It would really help the WT credibility if they were at least consistent in their made up explanations!

  Every JW (and ex-JW) that cares to think about these things absolutely know that the overlap will be extended to include anointed that were merely born before the first part of the overlap was all dead. They use Freddy Franz and 1992 as their benchmark, so that gets them easily 45 to 50 years past that date (so as late as 2042) before they have to look back at all the proof in their own Watchtowers (that they have planted in the years leading up to 2042) that the overlap did not have to be active "contemporaries" of the first part of the generation.

  So knowing they will eventually go there, no JW's are even thinking about how the current FDS are really not contemporaries at all of Freddy, the symbolic end of the first part of the generation.

  using George Gangas as a benchmark, who died 1996, after 82 years of "serving" as anointed will get them to 2078.

  besides, overlapping is not only the GB members but the closet "anointed: too,

  all as relevant as a discussion of Shakespeare's Mc Beth.

  They said in their recent "overlapping" ramble that ALL GB members are part of the second group that overlapped the first...including Mark Sanderson...thus he lives till 80 means the Big A doesn't need to come for another 30 years and they do not need to change the doctrine.

  Excellent summary...never knew the WT confirms they were all helpers AFTER 1992...destroys their September ramble.

  The only thing I note is the WT says "some" of the other sheep became helpers...nowhere do they say ALL helpers are other sheep....unless I missed it.

  Its quite obvious with a bit of intellectual honesty that the GB today will spin whatever they can up to make themselves legit. This organization was built upon predicated lies and formative bullshit, so from that acknowledgment is this so really surprising ?

  The new and young GB today are the overlapping generation that the WTS is trying to establish.

  When these guys die off in 20 years or so the GB members then will dig up some more bullshit to make them look legit. Rinse cycle repeat.

  If these helpers were NOT from the other sheep, they would essentially be part of the F&DS since they meet the criteria of "Small group of anointed Christians, living at Head Quarters, during Christ's presence, who are directly involved in preparing and dispensing spiritual food. "

  But we know that the GB like to have tight control on who gets that accolade and glory, so the helpers must be Other Sheep.

  The original "generation" have all passed so this current lot are considered Next Generation.

  Then, over the next hundred years there will be Voyager Generation followed by Deep Space Nine -or is it the other way around? Anywho, don't think they have thought that far ahead.
