No, since 2013, the Faithful Slave was appointed in 1919 and is essentially the Governing Body, not the "anointed remnant". The anointed and the "other sheep" are now together the "domestics".

Matthew 24:45 has now been disconnected with the Parable of the Wheat and the Weeds.

Interesting, since what I have studied shows me Tyndale believed in the trinity of God the Father, the Word ( his Son) and the Holy Spirit.

I could never stand when Witnesses tried to retroactively give themselves a connection to things and persons of centuries ago.

    Wycliffe Bible, 1385:

    John 1:1:

In the beginning was the word,

and the word was at God, and God was

the word. [In the beginning was the word,

that is, God’s Son, and the word was at God,

    and God was the word.]

Not exactly "The Word was God", but close. Wonder what a JW would say to that?

Hahaha! "back in the olden days..."

Back in 1966, the movie "A Man for all Seasons" was released.

All the JWs went to see it because 'the society' had said that Thomas More was "really a Jehovah's Witness"...he was one of the pure ones who woulda/coulda/shoulda been a JW....way back in da "olden days"

heeheeeheee....*snicker*...I was under the impression that Thomas More was some kind of direct line to Adam...or at least...Thomas More had some kind of connection to the "Real Christians"
