Going tomorrow (Thursday) to apply for a job working at the water department. It is entering in water bills. Has benefits and for this area, the starting pay is good. Please think pleasant thoughts, wish me luck and for those who pray, say a prayer for me as this would be a great if I got the job.

Sadie, how did your job application go?
....hoping Sadie isn't here because of celebrating the new job!
I turned in the application. They said they are just collecting applications and will start interviewing next week. They go through the applications and pick ones that they want to interview.
Ran into the mayer on the way out(this would be a city job) and asked him to put in a good word for me. I also have a few friends at the police dept who said they would mention me too.
So I'll have to wait and see if i get picked for an interview. Hoping I get a call.
