Revelation 5:9 And they sing a new song, saying: “You are worthy to take the scroll and open its seals, for you were slaughtered and with your blood you bought people for God out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, 10 and you made them to be a kingdom and priests to our God, and they are to rule as kings over the earth.”

Hi Kosonen, thanks for the verses. They're going to give me something to think about.

Matthew 19:28 Jesus said to them: “Truly I say to you, in the re-creation, when the Son of man sits down on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will sit on 12 thrones, judging the 12 tribes of Israel.

Matthew 6:10 Let your Kingdom come. Let your will take place, as in heaven, also on earth.

When Jesus started to preach, then he started to invite people to become kings that will rule with him over mankind on earth. So the Christian Greek scriptures are focused on that purpose. For the new government to function well, the kings that will rule together with Jesus have to become very good as persons. That is the main thing taught in the New Testament.

    2 Timothy 2:12 if we go on enduring, we will also rule together as kings; if we deny, he will also deny us;

1 Corinthians 4:8 Are you already satisfied? Are you already rich? Have you begun ruling as kings without us? I really wish that you had begun ruling as kings, so that we also might rule with you as kings.

" Kosonen, thanks for the verses. They're going to give me something to think about."

You are very welcome, and Jesus is inviting you too to become a king for his kingdom.

    We have something in common!

I've never asked you to engage in any arguments. I'm simply repelled by your condescending, Watchtower style comments. I don't have a problem with the scriptures btw.

Same thing here. No problem with the Scriptures. It's what you are "selling."

You have more or less told us you were once a Mormon who went to your bishop and told him that you no longer believe that Joseph Smith was God's prophet and that you didn't believe the Book of Mormon was true.

But everyday you post a text from the Book of Mormon and you then proceed to tell us what Joseph Smith teaches us about each passage your quote.

So all of us are like: "Why is he doing this?"

You are doing the same thing, but with Watchtower beliefs. If we wanted the Watchtower, we would not be here. Why do you think we would be listening to you? Do you want us to go back? You make little sense.

I am not trying to be mean. I just want you to reason with us. What are you trying to accomplish? If we are supposed to follow Watchtower teachings like you are recommending, then we would not be reading any of your posts because we aren't supposed to listen to a disfellowshipped person if you want us to buy into Watchtower theology again. So this would all be illogical.

Why quote from The Book of Mormon and promote its teachings if you don't want people to follow Mormonism?

Ok, I am sorry for that. I will try to change my style. Good that you pointed that out. I was not aware that others perceived me to be condescending.

That's interesting that you also work in construction. May I ask what kind of jobs do you do on construction sites?

I wish you a good day!
