the Silence, you are a pit boss, huh? Very cool...I know of a former District Overseer that told me how he was in Vegas (for some Society situation) and he walked in thru the casino to the restaurant. He saw 1 quarter in a machine. He put it in and got 20 bucks. He laughed about how he got the money without ever really gambling. Which made me think that if I gave my money to my family and had them play slots, it wouldn't be gambling.

I really like to gamble. I am in Las Vegas just about every other month. I used to go there and never really gamble. For a while it did not interest me. I started playing roulette and I was hooked. It is so much fun!

This last trip I took I started playing Craps. Now that was awesome! I had beginner's luck I guess because I had $40 cash on me when I left and I came home with $300! I didn't have to use my debit or credit card for anything that weekend. That was really exciting to me because I always come home broke.

I always know my limits though. I nver spend too much over what I originally planned.

I'll be there again in two weeks. I hope my Luck has not run out.

:::chuckling::: minimus, you would think it would be really cool, wouldnt you? however, like any job after a while it becomes drudgery. however i can say ive seen very interesting things and people.

sandy, craps is certainly my favorite game in the house. $40 to $300? quite possible. it is a game where you can either make a *lot* of money very quickly or lose it quickly.

I have been to Vegas several times over the past few years for various work related meetings. During all my visits, the accumulated amount that I gambled was less than $5.00. Also, I have never and will never buy a lottery ticket.

First time in Vegas I made $350.00 off $9.00 in a dollar slot machine. Guess that was the extent of my beginner's luck. I LOVE poker. And blackjack too. But for the most part I'm not a good gambler.

If I loose 20 bucks I think 'that was gas for a whole week.' Though I went to a Scorpion's concert last month and played free roulet for most of the concert.

I don't like to gamble. But I do really like to gambol.

And any time I feel like buying a lottery ticket, I just drive by a convenience store and throw ten dollars out the window.

Thank god I was born without the gambling gene. No telling what kinda trouble I'd have been in and out of in my life if I was into gambling.

Not long after being out the org. took a week-end trip. The same week-end of my daughters wedding. Which I was not invited. Painful time. So I stopped in the Native American casino on Lake Superior. Wanted to break a jw rule. I put 5 bucks in machine and walked out and the sky did not fall!! I take great pleasure in breaking rules!!!!!!!!

I enjoy gambling with in certain limits.

I once saw a man put a dollar in a Coke machine, and then sat the coke on the ground. He continued to do this until he had about 40 Coke cans all around him.

I asked him what he was going to do with all the Coke and he said he did not know, but he wasn't going to quit while his 'luck' was holding out!
