My son and his girlfriend had their first baby today.....a boy, Stephon Kaliph. 7.10 oz. I was there for the birth. I cried......
He was so curious! Very quiet. Just looked around and sighed.....

Congtatulations!!!! Tatiana, to be there for the birth makes it extra special. I have a feeling that little baby is going to be one "spoiled" little boy. There is a big difference between being spoiled and being a brat. Enjoy every moment.

And a reason for the name, Kaliph.......when my son was small, my best friend had a son the same age. They played together. He was always at my home. When he was about 4 1/2, he was struck by a car and killed. I still keep his picture on my mantle. His name was Kaliph. I didn't know until today that my son had chosen that name. It was very touching. Sometimes you don't realize how sensitive your "macho"son is, until he does something like this.
