That highly emotive headline is just to have a wack at bible believers.

But the world around is showing so many signs of change, that it's certainly looking like something new is here.

For example, driverless cars and buses are now possible. And its the buses that are already hitting the road.

Watch this video, and say hello to the USA's Olli:

Or, if you're out in Japan's sticks, you may catch this driverless bas:

And, if you visit the very modern city of Shenzhen in China's south, you may soon catch one of these buses now under trial:

Or in Finland ( The Finns seem to be the first to have decided to use them):

All of which poses a question. The drivers of buses around where I live are threatening to strike, because the local bus service is being privatised. It seems they should be more concerned about the possibility that they will be without jobs at all in the not too distant future.

This shouldn't be for the reason that its taking away needed jobs and who is going to be there if some unruly thug or thugs get on the bus and starts abusing people ???

Driving and automotive specialists have exposed the potential danger of letting an on board computer drive vehicles on their own.

Maybe the WTS should charter some of these and fill them with up to date carts that can only hold 3 magazines. They would have a captive audience, and put a few video screens playing "just around the corner" as it goes around the corner...

I for one would welcome driverless cars, buses etc. Too many idiot drivers and road deaths.

    Slaughter bots- wow just wow!

The movie Infinity Chamber on netflix is about prisons fully operated by computers and bots. Brave new world.

Not at all, Finkelstein. I'm rather intrigued by contemporary processes. And, at my age I'm unlikely to see too many more changes. And even if I was, it would make no difference to whether or not something becomes commonplace.

My approach was slightly tongue in cheek, until I took a good look at the last videos.

Imagine some of those things in the hands of one of those crazies that seem relatively common in the USA. Instead of buying a stock of high-powered rifles, he invests in a couple of hundred of those tiny drones programmed to recognise human faces and kill them. Scary huh?
