Skinner did NOT raise his daughter in a box. She did NOT commit suicide. This is an urban legend.

The confusion comes from an article in Ladies Home Journal where a picture of Skinner's daughter inside a portable crib built by Skinner appeared. The crib was built to keep her warm during the harsh winters. A Skinner box is a completely different thing that was used in animal experiments and people confused the two when they saw the picture in the magazine. Skinner did unsuccessfully try to market his crib invention, though, calling it the 'heir conditioner' and 'aircrib'.

    Thanks Rem,

For destroying the last truth I had remaining from the '70's. First I find out the WTS lied to me. Then I found out my first girlfriend lied to me, then I found out Richard Nixon lied to me, then I find out Timothy Leary lied to me... and now you inform me that my favorite highschool teacher lied to me. When will these indignities end. I'm so embarrassed!!

    Hi,

I had read Isa 45:7 and it seems that the Bible said that God creates evil.

My first thought: He conceives the order and design His creation, anything against it was disorder and evil, so in this sense He was the creator of the evil.
