And btw, a really idiotic call from the pilot to decide to fly in those conditions. I've heard no less that 10 pilots come out and say there was no way they would fly like that.
also, perhaps i'm not the only one, but I've taken flights where as I look at weather conditions I wonder if it's a good idea to continue, thought I usually just shrug my shoulders and trust that the pilot must know better than me, and I guess i'm still alive, so that's true, but evidently that's not always the case.
