Hmmm...and Osama Bin Laden has been the leader of What country? Oh, that's right...he's never been the leader of a Nation. He's merely a religious extremist who has benefited from a capitalist system that allowed his family to get filthy stinking rich to finace this wave of terror and inciting of people to a life of intolerance. Do you think for one minute that even if the US "cleaned up their act" to his way of thinking, yet did not become a land where his extremist religious views are held as a requirement, that we would be good enough for him? Fat chance. He is so one way in his view that he will stop at nothing short of being the "end all be all dictator for life" of the world.

Oh, but that's right....he has no country. I don't know about any other lands, but here, if you use your money to finance violence to meet your own ends...well, those people usually are called criminals and we have prisons for ones like that. Osama is nothing more than a murdering criminal megalomaniac.

PS...that doesn't even begin to address the "morality" of his brand of Islam's treatment of women.

Yes, I think Bin Laden should be "the king of the world."

I also think he should put on one of these lovely garments and be tormented by the Taliban police for the rest of eternity. Sort of a BinLadenHell.

Against you , maybe not. But against God , it certainly is.

This is exactly why the west has gone downhill.

Bin Laden is a giant dildo.

Killing thousands of innocent people is OK, I guess.

More fundie thinking. God can kiss my ass. The West has gone downhill because we are hypocrites. We always try to claim a psuedo moral high ground but we have the largest porn industry in the world. Why? Because that is what people like. You cannot apply your sense of morality, which is based off of the writings of 2,000 year old goat herders, to me or anyone but yourself. You need to get rid of this concept of sin that people try to apply to everyone but themselves and just live your life. Religion and all of its hypocrisy are what is ruining the west and the rest of the world. You sound no different than an Islamic extremist. What this country needs is a good old fashion Bible burning.

Bin Laden is correct in that the U.S. is trying to homogenize the world into its own view. However, he is just as self interested as any other fanatic whether it be Hitler, Stalin, or Mao. As much as I loath Bush I think he really thinks he is doing what is best for the country. I just happen to disagree with his point of view.

Here's a qote for ya, although some of you might dismiss it because he doesn't wear a big dick hat ala the pope on his head or wave a bible in everyones face.

"Those who affirm that their God is the only God are doing something dangerous and pernicious, because they are on the way to imposing their beliefs on others, by any means possible" - Dalai Lama
Sound familiar? This country is full of Christian Taliban and that is why we are heading down a dangerous road. Flame away johnny.

First of all, I don't think the "West" is going "downhill." I think things are getting better, not worse. Not that long ago famine and plague were common all over the world, north, south, east and west. Not that long ago people were bought and sold all over the world. Not that long ago racism and class discrimination almost like the caste system were the accepted practices all over the world. Things are much better. Now slaves are only openly bought and sold in Africa, even in India the caste system is weaker than it was, plagues and famines are so uncommon as to be the objects of international help, most coming from the West it seems. No, things are much better.
As for homosexuality, I think it is sad. I think it causes the participants more pain and misery than many of them can bear and I think it is real unhealthy. To me, it is a sin, but I still believe in a creator and still believe in the Bible.. I don't hate homosexuals, I feel sorry for them. The ones I have known have had a lot to deal with, not the least of which were their own feelings of self-worth and confusion. We had one at work who was caught in a rest area bathroom, sad. Another in our extended system lost his job for inappropriate behavior to a minor.
Bin Laden. A rich boy murderer looking for meaning to his life and finding it in hate. Guilty of so much innocent blood. The change of government in Afghanistan is on his head, along with the loss of life. The deaths of the European's and American's along with a host of others of all backgrounds, are on his head. If you think of the bombing of the embassies in Africa and the poor blacks who bit it, the destruction of the twin towers and the mixed bag from all over the world who died, the bombing of the night club where so many Austrailians died, the massive numbers of Iraqi's who are about to die, well, he has been a poor fighter, a worse saviour and a Godawful person to have as a friend. I imagine a few prayers go up to Allah and a lot of curses from Afghanistan, Iraq and Cuba. Add my curse to the list.

Ummm...what rock do you live under? I would really like the information you pulled out in order to come to your conclusion that things are "better".

Did you ever think the self-worth and confusion issues they have to deal with come directly from people like you? People who tell them it's "wrong" "unhealthy" and "unnatural" for them to feel the way they do??
