For the first 30 minutes of the programme I was actually feeling very sorry for the guy. But as time went on and his behaviour became more erratic, I really started to worry.

Those poor kids have no chance of any kind of normality in their lives. The part where he was bouncing 'Blanket' on his knee with a, erm, blanket on his face really freaked me out. He looked like he was having some very weird kind of episode. And I can't believe he actually took his daughter straight from the hospital MOMENTS after she was born. I would love to hear what Debbie Rowe thinks of it all.

There were just so many unbelievable moments in that show, the U.S. aren't gonna know whats hit them when they get to see it.

It was weird and disturbing, for sure.

It got more weird, as it went on...

IMHO, he is totally detached from reality, and has incredible wealth, to boot.

"We bought this and this ...oh and we have that and that over there and didn't we buy this and that oh yes and we bought one of those and one of these and that over there and this and that and that and and this and that this .......blahblahblahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

I only caught the last half hour or so, but what I did see of it, made me feel very sorry for the guy.

The surreal world of fame and fortune, along with his father's cruelty, has really messed with his head and the guy is not normal. He seems to have a heart of gold, and I am sure he would never hurt a fly, but he is definitely in a world of his own, trying to recapture the childhood that he lost.

I also feel sorry for his kids - with him as their father, they will never know what a normal upbringing is, nor will they ever have a maternal presence in their life. It's all very sad.

I'm wondering if that is the same show that is suppose to be aired this Friday at 9pm on 20/20 in the US. I've seen a few teasers on it.

I guess I'll have to watch it now.

Yes, it is the same show. I think it's the ABC network that bought the rights from ITV1 for something like 3 million.

The TV listings are showing it as being screened at 8pm on Thursday 6th.
