Gwen, great to see you here again! Thanks for the kind words. You too, Lisa!
I was going through a bit of a mood about this the other night when I was playing my old Status Quo album. Rather appropriately (I thought) there was talk on this board about Maurice Gibb's death. One of the songs I was listening to was an old Bee Gees number, Spics and Specs. On the other board, my old mate Picsofmatchstickmen would have posted some lines from this, but since he can't post here, I guess I'll have to:
Where is the sun that shone on my head?
The sun in my life, it is dead, it is deadWhere is the girl I have loved all along?
The girl that I love, she is gone, she is gone
Yup, "it is dead; she is gone" - rather summed up my mood that night. Still, you can't stay sad and introspective forever, so let's get back on topic:
Gopher:
1988 is a rather interesting cut-off point. It was in that year that the Revelation and Insight books were released. One said that the men of Sodom would be resurrected, while the other said they wouldn't. Talk about flickering new light!
