That is so sweet of everyone offering their transportation.

Elsewhere has always carted our butts around, but if hes not up to it, I will be sure to contact you. We really like his tours of Dallas, even though it involves alot of u-turns and slight motion sickness is a result.

Sixi has also provided us with transportation and is an excellent driver. He knows how to quickly swerve from oncomming traffic that he has just pulled out in front of, while talking on the phone, listening to music and loud, obnoxious laughter from us northern women.

    Cant wait to see everyone.

OK....the reservation is made. JWD is the res name. A couple things...first they don't have a liquor license but will probably have that done by March, which may be a problem, but it may be that we can bring our own. The manager is going to contact me about this ASAP. I never got a response via phone or email from them so I decided a visit was in order. It would be very untheocratic to not have spiritual food at our Apostafest. We also have athe option of a set menu....if we bring our own booze we can spend a little more on food. If we cannot have alchohol then I suggest we move the event...there are several steak houses there on composite to choose from. I doubt hoever that the folks at Trail Dust are going to want to lose our business because they have no liquor license.

They have set menus for $17.50 per person which includes your choice of 12 oz sirloin steak, or chicken or salmon, and beans and toast salad baked potato, and a drink. I like the next one up for $19 which comes w/the 14 oz club or t-bone . Other ones go up in price all the way up to $27 per person which includes a 22 ounce porterhouse and appetizers...so I thought I would throw that out there...or we could order from the full menu...I just thought perhaps this would make serving everyone at the same time easier. You peeps lemme know whatcha wanna do. The kids set menu is $7.50 and includes an 8 oz top serloin, chicken fingers or a burger served w/fries.

    Sincerely,

    District Overbeer

I mentioned the apostafest to my brother and sister and they both said they HAVE to go. So Valis, add two to the count if you would please. As for the alcohol situation, it's a must! Even if it means relocating the event.
Also, my apostacam is charging and will be available to capture video of any related aposta-event if y'all'd like.

No LIQUOR license??? In THAT area? What are they waiting for - Armageddon??? I'm with you, Valis - no booze, no cruzanheart. I am willing to bring my own, though, and it will be cheaper that way so if they say "yes" that's fine. As for the set menu that's a great idea but is there any way we could sneak a tenderloin into that lineup? That's my favorite part of the dead cow. If not, I won't make a scene.

BTW, is there anywhere in Dallas where I can buy a kilt for you-know-who? Not promising anything, but . . . . . .

WOW they lost their license??? that sux!!!!!!!!!

Well, I would hate to not have it at Trail Dust, but no alcohol, well that just wouldn't be an apostofest at all!!!!!!!!!!

    Keep us posted.

    Ps, I like tenderloin too.

Valis, just what are you doing associating with people so untheocratic as not to have Spiritual Food? Have you forgotten the admonishment: "Do not become unevenly yoked with unbelievers!"???

    Cruzanheart,

LMAO, "What are they waiting for - Armageddon???"

    Val,

Whatever happens, happens.... I dont really need to drink. It only takes me a few to get tipsy so I should stay away from it anyway. (Slipping my flask into my bag)
