    Hi there all,

    In the Photodrama of creation there's a picture of the solar system.

    There are 12 solar orbiting objects. (Also a 13th orbit which seems to be a comet, probably Halley)

    Does anyone know where Russell got this from?

    And what are the unknown orbiting objects?

    The extras seem to be this side of Jupiter and Saturn.

    Maybe it's Russell's Teapot?

    Or the Asteroid Belt?

    Hi Max,

    Thought of that because the extra objects are between Jupiter and earth.

    But then each extra object is specified with a dot, so it can't represent belts of objects.

    Perhaps specific asteroids???

    It's probably 3 of the largest asteroids such as Ceres, Pallas and Vesta.

    Russell loved anything celestial. And most of it seems to have been half made up.

    The comet (?) is doing well to get between Mercury and the Sun.

    Best guess:

    Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars (the inner planets);

    Ceres, Vesta, Pallas and Hygeia (the four largest asteroids in the belt between Mars and Jupiter - Ceres is still considered a dwarf planet);

    Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune.

    Pluto had not yet been discovered, and would not be until after Russell's death.

    Thanks VI,

    Could explain it. I wonder where Russell got the chart from?

    And the comet (?) is doing well to get between Mercury and the Sun.

    I assumed it was Halley

    With Russell's interpretations on Pleiades and the Great Pyramid, I sometimes feel as if the old WT literature should be used as a plot point in a Ghost Busters type movie :)

    Hi Suraj,

    Pluto had not yet been discovered, and would not be until after Russell's death.

    The 12th object is after Neptune.

    As far as I understand it, a 9th planet was already guessed at in the late 19th century.

    It's probably 3 of the largest asteroids such as Ceres, Pallas and Vesta. the picture also shows the moon orbiting the earth, size out off scale.The distances are also wrong, Uranus is not twice as far from Neptune as it is from Saturn, Bode aficionados wish it were.

    Maybe he thought the one with the elliptical orbit was planet x, aka Nibiru.
