We took part of our Christmas bonus and went out shopping this past weekend. My wife is a real camera fanatic, so rather than pick out the wrong one (I'm completely clueless about cameras), I gave her the money and we all went to Wolf Camera to buy just the right one. It's not as romantic, but she got exactly what she wanted.

AND he kept the kids away from me while I compared the merits of various types of cameras and fended off the salesman's attempt to sell me a medium format camera at twice the price I wanted to spend. I ended up with a Nikon N55 and bought a second lens (90-300), which is EXACTLY what I wanted. Big Tex is a real sweetie!
