Save yourself the grief and, like I've said before, you should know to keep away from the beligerents in "other places".
Ever heard the expression "Suppose they gave a war and no-one came"? Or as the Bible indicates, without fire, the flame goes out.
I learnt years ago as (a bit of) a prominent elder that reality is that there's always going to be someone "talking about" you. The wise person simply ignores them.
Just enjoy the freedom you've earnt by leaving the borg, and that lovely family of yours.
