At least once a week there is a news report about a child abuse case. I note this each time to watch and see if it is a JW related case. As of yet they have all been related to other churches, coaches and teachers. As others have noted here the problem is widespread.
I would have to ask: Since the WT says that in all jurisdictions that require reporting alledged abuse to the authorities that they indeed comply- are there cases pending where the congregation did not comply with such laws? Somewhere in a thread here I remember reading about a congregation that was disbanded (seems like it was in canada) due to pediphile issues. If my memory is correct can someone post a link to that story? Thank you!
