I certainly don't believe that any of us are "getting used to terrorism".

What is happening, is that we are more educated and aware of the true condition of society within what we call "the free world", and we are more alert to our lifestyles, surroundings, events, and the part we play in everything, as well as the "other" forces out there operating away from the good.

We have stopped reacting to mere stimuli, with a rush of adrenalen. Now we face our situations with resolve and dignity on a day to day basis. We take nothing for granted. People are even learning to "tune out" the hum of the media, which is a driving force that only heightens and escalates fear. We can live with the facts. We don't need all the additional theatrical speculations from the news media.

We have been living within a feeling of protection and isolation from the terrorism that we've heard about for years, happening in other areas of the world. No doubt the events of 911 woke everyone up to things that our government has known for a very long time. That is, if we don't keep an eye on the enemy, he will sneak up behind us when we least expect it.
