    Shakita,

Thanks for posting this. I decided not to add more to the list myself. It's so sad. The 35 year old bus driver, Conrad Johnson, died today. He leaves behind a wife and two kids.

I'm beginning to think that this person is linked to that Aspen Hill area. Perhaps he grew up there. His rage began there with the initial killings. He must have known that the bus driver always stopped right there to begin his work day, a side street off a major road, dark, except for the street lamps and the light from the bus, because it's door was open. That is why I believe the killer does know some of his victims. There is a connection. Could it be religious? I have to wonder. Maybe he lives in that apartment complex. Maybe his name is Michael. He has lost faith. God has let him down, so now he must be god in order to set things straight.

That fellow that was out very early, walking his dog in that very area, heard the shot. He could have been the victim himself. People are very upset and scared. Children are afraid to go to school; parents are afraid to go to work.

I've always thought that he kills in the morning and in the evening, so he must work during the day. The only other time was the 2:30 shooting, and maybe he was "working" in that area. He wants his fellow man to suffer, to feel the pain that he feels--yet he cannot bring himself to "face" them, because he "knows" they are not his enemy. So, he shoots from a distance. He knows the ones left behind will be in terrible pain and grief from the loss. Has he suffered such a loss himself recently?

Is he ex military? Is he in Security? Is he a policeman/sheriff's deputy? I believe the initial sightings of the white boxed trucks, etc., was totally coincidental. As we have just learned, there are many illegal immigrants driving these type of trucks. Just look around and notice the number of these types of vehicles. They are everywhere. Certainly they would try to escape a bad situation so they wouldn't be found out. Someone saw a truck speed away, and thus all the attention to white vans.

The police obvious know more than they are saying. I'm glad. They don't owe the news media anything about the details. The media are really getting on my nerves for the most part.

I appreciate your care and concern. We have no choice but to wait it out to it's conclusion.

Since I don't believe terrorists would "ask for money" I now am going back to my original thoughts that the person is local. A very sick and disturbed person. I keep thinking that someone has to know this person. They live with him or work with him. Someone is going to put two and two together, if they already haven't done so, and report it to the authorities.

My only fear is that he's already dropped out of society. I mean, he had at least to have stockpiled his ammo already - anyone buying sniper rounds in the DC area (or, hell, ANYWHERE) now is going to get a second look and an FBI escort for the next month.

He's not been caught - which, 12 attacks later over several weeks, generally rules out 'crazy'. At least, insane crazy. So, he must be acting on SOME kind of motive and planned this to some level in advance.

and what exactly is a 'sniper round'?

Generic-ism for a round of the same make as the ones they've found in the victims so far.

I don't actually have any idea what weapon he is using, so the round used is up in the air.

Say it was an M40A1 (of which I know a few details), if someone in the DC area started buying quite a bit of 7.62mm Match Grade ammunition, that'd be suspicious, no?

    it's a .223

Thing is, there really is no difference, between a 'sniper rifle' and a hunting rifle. Only difference is this guy is hunting people, not deer.

Yeah, just did a little reading - the .223 makes it harder to track.

Range of 730 yards, to, so...little short of half a mile. Makes the 'vehicle at the scene' reports a little unreliable. 'At the scene of the attack' would be nowhere near the victim.
