I especially liked My Book of Bible Stories!!! I think I was about 12 when it came out. Too little, too late.
Yet, it was on the preferred reading list at my home. Nightly. BLECH. The picture of the baby getting reading to be cut in half was almost as gruesome as the one of Isaac getting ready to be sacrificed.
Since I left JWs I have read a lot of Children's Bible story books. I have yet to see pictures as dark and demented as those in the JW book.
