*SNEEZES"...Should I say Bless You???? lol

I'm pretty sure I'm right about this. I haven't been in the org for a long time, but it seems that whenever someone Sneezes, you are not supposed to say "BLESS YOU" ///// WHY is this so???

I personaly don't see anything wrong w/saying Bless You !

Back in the mid 1600's, a sneeze was the first symptom of bubonic plague, so a "Bless you" was most appropriate.

How funny!!!! I would get uncomfortable if someone sneezed because I couldn't say bless you yet I didn't want to appear rude since really that is just a form of good manners. I would never have told a worldly person either that I couldn't say that because I knew how stupid it would sound. How do intelligent people all conform to such silliness? jurs

I preached that it was not to be said in my home ( when I was a JW) Now where ever I am -store, church- any where! I enjoy saying it. Every one says "ThankYou"
