When I read this on the Quotes site I laughed and shook my head at the WT ignorance 100 years ago.
Though once as black as charcoal, the Rev. Mr. Draper is now white. His people say that his color was changed in answer to prayer .
Then I realized that ignorance still continues today. I remember reading articles in the magazines not so very long ago saying that gay people could pray themselves straight. It even gave the experience of a gay man who became a JW and through faith changed himself straight and married a sister. Will people look back a hundred years from now and laugh and shake their heads at this ignorant idea?
Just a thought.
