I thought the article was balanced and well observed. It describes the bethel Stepford Wives atmosphere to a tee. They will again think that they gave hospitality and then had the hand that fed bitten.
What will happen when the novelty of Metropolitan Witnessing or as they call it locally going on the trolley wears off? The trollies are going to be just part of the familiar ignored scenery like Big Issue sellers, beggars and the like.
