Paradise Earth A Very Selfish Idea

Dearest larc... may you have peace... and may I ask you to consider:

The earth is finite and can only hold so many people, even under perfect conditions.

This is true IF such "people" were to exist in flesh, with its blood. However, flesh... with its blood... is IMPERFECT. Always has been... always will be. It is "corrupt" and holds corruption (sickness, and if not sickness, then certainly aging, and ultimately, death) within it.

IF, on the other hand, if such "people" were to exist in bodies through which flowed the blood of God... holy spirit... then such boundaries as the earth's finiteness would be moot; it would have no 'hold' on anyone, for one who exists in a spirit body can "go in and out" of the spirit and physical worlds.

Thus, it is true that there will be a "paradise" earth. That was the plan from the beginning. However, unlike the false teaching of the WTBTS, who teaches that such existence is desirable in the flesh... with its blood... this "paradise" is INSIDE the boundaries of the City of New Jerusalem, which city come downs OUT of heaven... and eventually encompasses the earth. OUTSIDE that city are those who exist in the flesh... with its blood (Revelation 21:27; 22:15). The "unclean", which, for one reason or another, we ALL are.

Thus, OUTSIDE that City, that kingdom paradise of which Eden was merely the garden, is where we all "exist" NOW... which is WHY things are as they are: we reside "among" such ones. We are, though, to be "alien residents"... awaiting that time when we... Israel AND the nations (the 144,000 AND the "great crowd") are granted entry, through the "Door", which is CHRIST... which is why that City has GATES, guarded by angels - to regulate WHO "goes in and out" - remember Adam being cast out and the cherubs posted at the entry?). One who has been granted entry, then, is given the "work" of "rendering sacred service... day AND night" before the throne of God.

The WTBTS errs SEVERELY when it teachs its members to keep their minds... "on the things upon the earth,"... or OUTSIDE of that City. For they honor the flesh; yet, my Lord is recorded to have said: "The flesh... is of NO use... at all."

All I ask is that you consider this... and again, I bid you peace.

YOUR servant, and a slave of Christ,

    SJ

So, at some time in the future, no more people will have a chance for a life. That is not fair.

Not fair to whom? People who don't exist? Are you saying that everyone who could ever exist has a right to life? Maybe you should form a group championing the rights of the nonexistent!

    Hi Larc:

What I find totally stupid about JWs reasonings on living forever in paradise is that they have to deny themselves now (education, fun, experiences, etc) in order to receive The Prize, which is a conditional one, because after living for 1000 years as they 'grow to perfection', they have to qualify for The Real Prize afterward, which means they have to keep living a life of self-denial for the entirety of the Millennium.

Most people can't make it through a day/week/month without screwing up in some small manner. Imagine trying to live for 1000 years with the knowledge that you're not good enough?? Obviously your average dub hasn't thought this through too carefully.

    Love, Scully

Quote: "That means that at some point in time, no more people can be born. So, at some time in the future, no more people will have a chance for a life. That is not fair.

The Society has already addressed this problem. Their answer is......when the earth is filled to Jehovah's satisfaction.....it would not be hard for him to stop the reproductive powers within those on the earth.

They have hinted at the possibility of Occupying other planets in time.....but have stated that is speculation.

It has been calculated and printed in the AID book that about 20 billion people have lived since Man's creation. They figured if that were true, then if all those were resurrected and all who live thru armaggedon would have about 5 acres per person, and would still leave all the forest and oceans.

This was an estimate from the 70's when the Aid Book was written.
