Why am I not at all surprised that a man that made big claims about himself is now attempting to blame a woman when he can't perform?

You're a joke to me, Viv. Trust me. But I liked you instantly because you said you wouldn't mind if Finkelstein did some excavating on you! hahahaha! So maybe we have the same fantasy about Finkelstein, because he is a cute one! In fact, in one of my raves against him I sort of mentioned he was cute. But I guess I'm not the only one who has noticed.

By the way, he has some great video on YouTube where he discusses archaeology in a dimly lit room with soft lights. Very sexy. But he is a wonderful archaeologist and one not so blinded by biases as far as his archaeology. So he's my favorite archaeologist. In fact, he is a foremost proponent of "Low Chronology" and I agree with all of his critical dates.

I know you're not that bright but let me share this tidbit about Finkelstein. Some ashlar stones were found at Samaria which had some matching mason's marks found at Megiddo. Of course, Samaria was built long after the rule of Solomon, What Finkelstein and others surmised from this was that the same architectural team must have built at both places, which means the building of Samaria was considered contemporaneous with the Solomonic level at Megiddo. Now that sounds all wonderful, but it contradicts the Bible which claims Megiddo was destroyed by Shishak many years earlier. So what gives?

Turns out on closer investigation, the stones at both Megiddo and Samaria were in secondary use. What does that mean? That means they were taken from previous buildings. So what actually happened was that after Megiddo was destroyed by Shishak, those pre-cut stones from the destroyed city that had the specific mason marks from a specific palace at Megiddo were re-used to rebuild the next level at Megiddo, but also some of those stones were transported to build at Samaria. That explains how you have mason marks on stones, clearly by the same building company found at Samaria. But this does not contradict the Bible, in fact, it tends to confirm that. That is, that Megiddo was destroyed prior to Samaria being built, making those stones available for recycling. But do you think the archaeologists could figure that out? Of course not. So you see, they see a contradiction that isn't there.

ROFL! You woludn't believe some of the research I've come across where very obvious explanations were missed by some archaeologist. I used to say archaeologists are often dishonest, but the fact is, that some of them are just dumb. They come to some conclusions just because they are not that knowledgeable in other fields.

Now if I had a show-down debate with Finkelstein and I asked him was it possible that the specially marked stones were transported from a destroyed Megiddo? What could he say? If I asked him whether or not there was a custom of using stones from one place to rebuild somewhere ellse? What could he say? But theoretically, that completely explains why you have original stones with specialized mason marks, likely from a specific original building at Megiddo, showing up in the palace at Samaria. It has nothing to do with the original builders building at both places. It has to do with Megiddo having been destroyed and those pre-cut stones being used at another location. So it is not a chronology issue at all. Samaria is not contemporary with Solomonic Megiddo, even though Finkelstein wasn't smart enough to understand that possiblity.

I know that was way over your head, but I'm just showing you how much FUN it is following behind these archaeologists who don't trust the Bible and come up with what seems to them as a contradiction but that isn't a contradiction at all. Do you know how many other scenarios like this I know about. Incredibly dumb archaeologists?

Do you get the picture yet? The scientists and scholars you admire are the scientists and scholars I have to pick up after and get back on track! The people you admire are the people I laugh at. Actually, I'm not laughing, I'm just shaking my head in disbelief.

Plus, Liv! It's not just archaeology you have to deal with when it comes to Bible chronology. You have to deal with secular historical records with all kinds of cryptic references, plus cryptic astronomical references. And I don't have to do anything but enlighten people! You know? All I have to say, is, "Oh! Guess what? Since Megiddo was a destroyed city, is it possible when Omri built Samaria he used some of the stones from Megiddo?" That's all I have to do.
