Thinkin about all the jw leaders back to the very roots of jws starting i was trying to think who was the genuine and truthful of the lot who could it have been:

    Charles taze russell

    Rutherford

    franz

    Knorr

Only due to some research i would say even though he wrote some mad books i would say it was charles taze russell oh and i loved the gravestone.

Is that really true that rutherford was a boozer?

I totally agree with you on russel.

I wonder if any still follow some sort of russellite faith.

Ohh sh@t only four people, it seemed people were wiser back then.

Maybe this generation has gone completely loopy.

I wonder if any of the 12 governing body smurfs are boozers or pot smokers mmmm i wonder.

    jjrizo.

Hey jjrizo, the way I hear it Maria wrote most of the books not Russell. Hopefully there will be a book out soon that will detail the life of Maria, written by someone that has been in the news lately.

I like the sincerity of Ray Franz. Reading two of his books so far has given us an outlook that we wished we could of seen years ago.

I'm not so sure what you mean about "most cool" jw leader, but I'll say that Russell seemed to be the most sincere. I'll also say that from a marketing standpoint Knorr was probably the most saavy in coming up with some bright ideas at the time in setting up TMS schools and other programs.

    Definitely Rutherford.

Smoked cigars, drank good whiskey, drove a nice car, wore silk shirts,
enjoyed his mistresses' physical charms, and lied to everybody while nearly
apotheosizing himself in a fanatical cult.

    Quite a life's work, don't you think?

Reminds me of Lex Luthor in Superman
