Thanks for the stories, the pics and the memories. Without a doubt, the Stanley Theater purchase and renovation was a "big thrill" that even trickled its way down here to Gator country. We had an opportunity to attend part of an assembly there. It truly was gorgeous, beautiful... loved the huge biblical murals (Jehu?), and was blown away by the stars and clouds in the "sky" of the auditorium. I thought I was "in heaven" for sure... And somehow it didn't even dawn on me that it was materialistic at the expense of poor brothers in Africa with no KHall at all... Hmmmm, why is that? 'Cuz I thought we had been "blessed" by Jah? I suppose, as has been stated...
I guess "the kings" felt it was high time they had more kingly surroundings and possessions...
I'd love to hear more about the "shenanigans" and behind-the-scenes cut-throat dealings between the WTS and the City.
