Ladies: Was born a dirty young man and died a dirty old one...

Friends: That bastard owed me for beer!

Parents: Guess we won't see him in Paradise...

Kids: At least he didn't leave us w/his bills to pay.

Enemies: Goddam him! He left us w/his bills to pay!

    Sincerely,

    District Overbeer

Here are a couple for our Board favorites :

YK - "What a lovely warm, gentle man, always had a good word to say for others"

Fred Hall - "There was more to him than met the eye......but not much more"

Farkel - "He was so clever, so talented. I dont like to bring this up now that he is playing piano for the angels, but why did he say Dip**** so often?

Englishman - "What a lovely man, he always had a grin on our faces and a hand on my pint"

Kent - "Gentle, quiet, poetic, but a trifle effeminate...lol

    Pomegranate,

Hey, you must be old.. :-)

Gee, thanks! Well, past fifty anyway. I admittedly do remember when a 'joint' was called a 'reefer', and people used the word 'cool' first time around....lol

Laura was just a teenager when she wrote many of those giants. Somebody sprinkled start-dust on her. Try to listen to her CD's / LP's, 'Christmas and the Beads Of Sweat' and 'Mother Spiritual if you get an opportunity, well worth the effort.

    Take care - HS

Waiting, I know the feeling; my daughter said last week,' you're weird compared to everyone elses mother;nice; but weird' !!!

    Hilary-love your wife's description-is it accurate?!

My cat; 'where's the feeder gone?'

    My children;'Where's the feeder gone?'

My husband' Where's the ..........you get the picture!!!

The neighbours will probably breath a sigh of relief though;Last month my husband burst in to the kitchen and shouted 'come and get me while i'm hot!'- they were over for a coffee.

He also told me in the garden today when I was getting cross with him, that he could tell I was.nt really cross, I just wanted him to lay me on the grass and ...you get the picture!-the neighbours suddenly 'coughed' and we had to run inside snorting!
