This weekend's gathering attracted a few of the sect's opponents. One local group posted about a dozen signs outside the Tacoma Dome challenging the faith's teachings. Church members paid little attention, even to a woman with a bullhorn barking out scriptural denunciations of their teachings.
"We recognize people are going to disagree with us," Blondheim said.
