Oh! Waddago, SpiderMonkey! The old saying "One day at a time" is a reality for us all - no matter what our background. As has been brought out, educating yourself on the why's and wherefore's of how addiction works (and getting out of it) gives backbone to the effort.

Well I agree with the post on addiction! I think people that are attracted to the JW religion are addictive people to start with...or the majority of them are. From what I have read from many posters this seems to be true!
Many on the boards go overboard in alcohol or drugs or sex or? after leaving the religion...That might be one reason..that they are people that have addiction problems and are not aware of it? JMO

I think we have all felt extremely elated after our "Discoveries" about the so-called "Truth"
