Last week we had an elder giving a talk, cant remember the title.

The thing that was of interest is the experience he gave:

"A brother who was working in a hospital had to leave his job which was paying him good money because the nurses wanted to sleep with him and they kept putting notes for him on his desk!"

This is not the first time i hear similar experience. A brother or sister at work had their colleagues (at least of them) wanting to have sex with them.

In what world do these people live. I have worked for several years in a "Worldly (tm)" job, and not a window cleaner and never had any work mate female or male approach me to have sex with me.

I might be an ugly person, what about my wife. She is nice looking, and never had any of her managers wanting to have sex with her!

I have heard JWs fucking each other more than than i have heard there was relations between work colleagues.

When would the WT stop giving false experiences or unrealistic ones.

These days if a person gives a wrong look at work, you will sitting in a disciplinary HR meeting risking your job!

Is he a doctor? Because if I have learned anything from all the hospital shows on TV it is that the nurses always want to sleep with the doctors.

I think it's the more stupid justification of leaving a job I never read. because a girl put sexy notes on his desk ! Who can believe this story ?

@ Slidin Fast: I anticipated such comment when i wrote it. Marriage is about trust i think!

@ Chaserious: Thats what the TV shows. Do you believe what you see on TV?

I've experienced a couple of flirtatious moments on the job (20+ years), but they were very rare and pretty tame.

Obviously, I'm in the wrong line of work.

Was that "hospital" really a low budget porn project?

I agree with the O /P ...The WTS has an agenda to make "The World" out to be as bad as they can make it....These unsubstantiated stories are just a part of the JW urban-myth that they want to create,

There have been Convention Dramas that feature this story line. It was the defence (or justification) that a young bro used in a training video for elders on J/C's.

They give the impression that "Worldly" women are sex mad harpy's only too willing to throw off their clothes and ******** like rabbits!. I have news for them, after 30 years in a commerce office with a lot of female staff - it is not like that ....

Even if they had bypassed a dullard like me, I would sure have heard about it if it happened

No but I do know of a case where an elder (married) and a pioneer (single) having sex during a return visit in the car while the other 2 publishers were in the householders house. It was in a rural area.

The same elder was walked in by his (now ex) wife having sex with another pioneer sister in their bed. Since we was caught, he ended up confessing to a whole list of transgressions the above experience being one of them. He was df'ed and has since come back with a new wife.
