I hope you can take what I have to say here in the same spirit that you posted your reply. I am not trying to fan the flames of a war here, I simply would like to add my opinion here.
Kent has been here since March of last year, his posting habits have been the same since that time. I never saw an increase in certain pic or stories he posted, except perhaps during flame wars. As for the Bin Laden pic, wasn't that way back in November? He started his board in March where a few people went to post. At that time he was very upset with you and took down the link for JWD. In response you returned the favor and took down his link. I can understand why you did this. Being human does has it's down side
There was a poster once who said if we all(those involved in flame wars) did not care we would not even reply. There are hurt feelings all around, I admit to having my feelings hurt, and hurting others. When I returned here to post, I decided that I would not become involved in hurting anothers feelings. I also have attempted to stay away from those who have hurt my feelings in the past. In real life we would be able to completly end a relationship such as this, in cyber world much thought must go into this decision.
You have said you have much respect for Kent and all of the work he does. I am sure he has respect for the work you put into the discussion board. There are bad feelings between you, and it is understandable. But who wins? Who loses? IMO there are only losers here. Those who visit Kent's site and do not know of the support that can be found here, and those who visit here and do not know of Kent's information. Both you and Kent are detrimental to those people, due to your pride.
As I said, I do not want to cause any bad feelings here, I just felt compelled to Box both of you on the ears and tell you to grow up Life is too short and the ones who are leaving the society NEED both of you.
